Paramount Launches ‘48 Hours’ Podcasts on the Candyman Murder and Crosley Green’s Questionable Conviction | Exclusive

Paramount is expanding on its “48 Hours” crime franchise podcasts with a fall slate that includes deep-dives into the Candyman murder, the questionable conviction of Crosley Green and new seasons of “48 Hours: Post Mortem” and “48 Hours Showcast,” TheWrap can exclusively reveal. They join the previously announced “48 Hours: NCIS” crossover.

Due to premiere Oct. 3, “Candyman: The True Story Behind the Bathroom Mirror Murder” is led by host Dometi Pongo (MTV’s “True Life Crime”) as he examines the 1987 murder of 52-year-old Chicagoan Ruthie Mae McCoy after she reported seeing intruders entering her apartment through her bathroom medicine cabinet.
